Navigation and Maps Apps in Colombia: Q3 2024 Performance Overview

In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications in Colombia showed diverse trends in downloads and user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a fluctuating download pattern, starting the quarter with approximately 51K downloads and peaking at about 71K in early September. Weekly active users varied, beginning at around 838K, dipping slightly mid-quarter, and ending close to 836K.

Google Maps Go maintained a consistent download rate, ranging from 21K to 28K weekly. Its active user base showed a slight decline early in the quarter but stabilized around 1.3M towards the end.

Google Earth downloads remained relatively stable, mostly hovering between 9K and 10K each week. The app's weekly active users were steady, fluctuating slightly around the 79K mark.

Live Earth Map & GPS Map saw a notable spike in downloads at the start of September, reaching around 19K, before declining again. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at nearly 33K in early September before decreasing towards the end of the quarter.

Circuit Route Planner showed a steady download performance, with numbers ranging from 3.7K to 5.8K. Revenue increased gradually, hitting a high of about $1.3K in late September. The app's weekly active users exhibited growth early in the quarter, peaking at 12.4K in early September before experiencing a slight decline.
